Description

When an alarm goes off, fire apparatus needs a clear lane — and the vehicle blocking it is a serious problem for whoever owns the property. This Fire Route No Parking sign marks the designated emergency access route in plain, driver-facing language and puts drivers on notice that vehicles left in the lane will be towed. Posted at intervals along the route, it supports towing enforcement where authorized and shows inspectors and building management alike that access is being taken seriously.

We print each sign at our NYC facility in four sizes — 12″ × 18″, 18″ × 24″, 24″ × 24″, and 24″ × 30″ — on 0.40 aluminum for permanent mounting, or styrene and coroplast for lighter placements. Engineer-grade reflective faces keep the message visible at night, when a blocked fire lane is most likely to go unnoticed. Prints are UV- and weather-resistant, built for year-round outdoor exposure.

This sign also offers color flexibility: choose the title and content font colors that match your property’s signage standards, in red, white, or black. Pick your options at checkout and we produce the sign to spec. Delivery across the five boroughs and Long Island takes 2–3 business days, 24-hour rush is available on most orders, and contractor accounts with volume pricing cover multi-building portfolios.

FAQ

Where should fire route signs be posted?

Post them so a driver anywhere along the route can see one — typically at the entrance to the lane and at regular intervals along its length. Facing traffic at driver eye level works best.

Can I actually have a car towed from a fire route?

Towing depends on your property’s enforcement arrangements and applicable rules, but clearly posted signage is the foundation — it puts drivers on notice and supports enforcement where authorized.
