Description
When work runs close to public space — and in New York City it almost always does — a clearly marked perimeter is your first layer of protection. This Construction Area safety sign warns workers, tenants, and passersby that they are approaching active construction, reducing injury and accident risk at the boundary where incidents can occur. It is printed in the standard OSHA safety-sign format, supporting the posted-warning documentation a well-run NYC site keeps in order for inspections.
Signs are printed in-house at our NYC facility, in 12″ × 18″ for doors and interior boundaries, 18″ × 24″ for fence lines, and 24″ × 36″ where the warning needs to read from across a street or yard. Substrate options are rigid styrene in .040″, .063″, or .080″ thickness, or lightweight coroplast that zip-ties straight to fence mesh. Full-color, fade-resistant printing holds up through every season, and the optional Seton UltraTuff overlaminate protects signs mounted where the public can reach them.
Order by size, material, and lamination, and the signs arrive ready to mount. Delivery across the five boroughs and Long Island takes 2–3 business days, with 24-hour rush available on most orders. Fence lines take multiple signs, so contractor accounts and volume pricing keep larger sign orders economical.
To manage who actually passes the line, pair it with our Construction Area Authorized Personnel Only Caution Sign at every access point.

FAQ
How far apart should I post these along a fence line?
A common approach is one sign at every gate plus regular intervals along the fence so a sign is visible from any approach. Order in volume and we’ll price the full run accordingly.
Coroplast or styrene for a six-month job?
Either works — coroplast is lighter and economical, while .063″ or .080″ styrene with UltraTuff lamination provides a clean appearance over a longer schedule.
